St James Health Centre

Appointment

Making An Appointment:

The practice runs an appointment system to see the health care professionals working within our medical centre. You can make an appointment at the surgery during the surgery hours or by telephone. Appointments can be made up to two weeks advance. Where possible the appointment will be with the doctor/nurse of your choice.

If you find that you cannot keep your appointment please inform reception as soon as possible on 0151 295 3800.

Waiting Times:

We hope to see you at your appointed time but on occasion due to complex problems or a medical emergency, you may have to wait. This will be due to the doctor or nurse dealing with another patient. This can be frustrating for all involved but we will keep you informed if there is a delay. If you have any queries please see the receptionist.

Please Remember…

If You Can’t Keep Your Appointment: Please contact reception on 0151 295 3800 as soon as you are aware you will not make your appointment as somebody else can be seen during this time.

Home Visits: Except in emergencies please ring the surgery before 10:00a.m.

Change Of Details: Please let us know of any change of address or contact telephone number.

Appointments: One appointment for one patient. If you have a number of problems, please ask for a double appointment.
