Baby Clinic

General Baby Clinic at St James Health Centre – Liverpool City Centre

Whether you have a new born baby, a toddler, or a child coming up to school age, our trained Health Visitor will take care of all your concerns over their development. When your new born reaches 8-weeks-old they will be offered an appointment for a health check. The Health Visitor and Doctor will both examine your child to confirm all is well. At our Baby Clinic, checks will be made on your baby’s hearing, vision, strength and movement of joints. Length and weight will be measured and recorded in a red book, which will monitor your baby’s progress.

Any questions or worries you may have can be discussed in confidence during your visit to our Baby Clinic.

During your baby’s early years they will be offered a number of immunisations, to protect against serious diseases.

The immunisation will give their body a chance to fight the disease if they come into contact with it.

Immunisations are administered by our Health Visitor and are by appointment only.
