St James Health Centre with its century-old history is the oldest Surgery in Liverpool City Centre. Our NHS GP Practice aims to provide the highest quality of medical care possible to the Liverpool community. Our team is led by GPs with experienced clinicians such as Advanced Nurse Prescribers, Physician associates, Clinical Pharmacists and technicians. We are a training practice and have doctors in training for the speciality of Family Medicine. Our practice is also attached to a local Primary Care Network consisting of local GP surgeries working together to deliver better and more equal care across the city. Including Primary Care specialities such as first point contact physiotherapy, minor surgery, social prescribing, contraception and coil fitting and mental health support.

Out of Hours: Our practice provides an 'out of hours' service between 6.30pm – 8:00am during week days, weekends and bank holidays. This service if operated by 'Urgent Care 24' who can be contacted by calling 0151 220 3685
